Here we are, summer days are sadly gone and fall is in full effect. While the holidays may be right around the corner, they aren’t here just yet. So before the holidays do come knocking at the door, let’s take this time to recenter and get grounded. The best way I know how to do that is through food, movement and self care!

Enter Bäre Daily Wellness CBD tincture. My go to tool for nearly everything, but especially during the fall. The weather changes and holidays on the horizon are an instant wave of anxiety for me. CBD helps ease anxiety and acts as a mood stabilizer. This is why when the fall hits, I make sure to whip up some CBD snacks and start each day with one (or two).

Two snacks that I make in bulk and keep in the house during the fall are energy bites and almond butter date bites. Both are quick and easy to make, infused with CBD, and have ingredients that are all easy to grab on your next Trader Joe’s run! They both pair well with your morning cup of coffee and are a great pick me up in the afternoon too.

If snack prepping isn’t quite your thing, don’t worry. You can add Bäre CBD oil to any drink, hot or cold.

In addition to getting a daily dose of CBD, I find that moving my body for at least 15 minutes a day is crucial for balance and stability. During the fall, the days are shorter but feel a million times longer. Waking up and working out really does offer that extra wave of energy without having to pour another cup of coffee. Working out my legs and glutes are always a top priority for me because a lot of our energy actually comes from our glutes; the stronger we make our glutes, the longer they can carry us through the day.

If you’re just starting out and a workout circuit feels a little overwhelming, don’t worry! Take yourself on a walk. Put that phone on do not disturb and let those legs move! A ten minute walk in some fresh air truly does work wonders.

And lastly, don’t forget to pencil in some self care time. Resting is just as important as movement and fueling your body properly. So go home and take a hot bath, make time to meditate, read that book you’ve been meaning to pick up. Whatever it is that fills your soul and lets your body rest, make sure you do it.

CBD No Bake Energy Bites

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats

  • ⅔ cup coconut flakes

  • ½ cup peanut butter

  • ½ cup ground flax seeds

  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

  • ⅓ cup honey (or agave)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon Bäre CBD oil

Directions:

Simply combine all ingredients in one large mixing bowl.

Mix it until the ingredients look well combined.

Let it chill for 30 minutes and then roll into balls.

Recipe should yield 25 energy bites, with each energy bite containing 10 MG of CBD.

Store in the refrigerator.

CBD Almond Butter Date Bites

Ingredients need:

  • 16 medjool dates

  • 1  cup almond butter

  • 1 tablespoon Bäre CBD oil

  • ⅔ cup toasted coconut flakes

  • Sea salt

Directions:

Combine almond butter and CBD oil in a bowl, mix well and set aside.

Slice dates open longways and remove the pit. In the center of the date, spoon in approximately one tablespoon of the almond butter and CBD oil combo.

Top with toasted coconut flakes and sea salt to taste.

Recipe yields 16 almond butter date bites with 15 MG of CBD.

Store in the refrigerator, best eaten at room temp.
